Solesca in the news
The coverage that matters is the kind Solesca did not write: trade press reporting on product launches and integrations, a California Energy Commission staff review, and recognition from the U.S. Department of Energy. This page collects it, with links to the originals.
What has the trade press covered?
Solar Power World has covered Solesca four times: the engineering mode launch (April 2026), the ARGUS AI auto-obstruction detection launch (December 2025), the DNV SolarFarmer integration (September 2025), and the ETB Developer integration (November 2024).
Solar Builder reported on the Energy Toolbase partnership in January 2025, and Energy Toolbase has written about the Solesca integration on its own blog, including the ETB Developer launch announcement.
What does the public record say?
In August 2025, California Energy Commission staff published a review recommending the Solesca tool for certification under the 2022 Energy Code, reported by Solar Power World and published at energy.ca.gov. A staff review by a state energy regulator is a different class of evidence from a press release, which is why it also anchors the validation page.
Solesca was a finalist in Round 6 of the U.S. Department of Energy's American-Made Solar Prize in 2023.
